En route

Thank you to all those who have subscribed to my blog so far, it’s great to write about and share my adventure!

Today marks the beginning of my adventure and my flight to Paris! I am looking forward to a few days of settling in and pottering aroung Paris with my boyfriend, Andy before starting my new internship position on Monday.

I will be living just outside central Paris, in a small French village on the commuter route into the city. I am so looking forward to experiencing the busy bustle of the city during my working days and hopping home on the tube into French countryside. And hopefully this will mean an even better opportunity to practice my French!

The plan for the next couple of days, other then eating croissants from the local boulangerie and sipping some French wine, will be mainly exploring our favourite quieter spots in Paris. Although I love the Eiffel Tower and shopping along the Champs-Élysèes, my favourite parts of Paris are the less-touristic cobbled streets lined with independent shops and quality French treats!

As we arrive into Manchester airport, it’s time for some reading up on my beautiful new city and of course some duty-free perfume hunting!

I would love to hear about your favourite spot in Paris and any recommendations you have for my time in the city!

À bientôt,
